Case introduction:

A crude benzene tank in a coking plant in Xingtai needs to be completely cut and dismantled and replaced with a new tank due to its obsolescence and safety hazards. The tank has a diameter of 11m and a wall thickness of 10mm. There is still a large amount of crude benzene residue inside, and there are many impurities at the bottom, making it difficult to clean.

Our company’s technicians used self-developed small-scale low-pressure water cutting equipment to completely dismantle the crude benzene tank. Since it is a high-altitude operation, the technicians first set up scaffolding at the designated location, then used a hole opener to open 4 lifting holes in the upper and lower parts of the tank, cut the entire lower part of the tank around it, and finally connected it with the adjacent tank. The connecting channel is cut off.

There is no high temperature or open flame in the entire cutting process, which is safe and reliable, and the cutting task is completed excellently. After cutting, the tank is hoisted and moved to a suitable location for disposal.
